Razer is very well known for its gaming products, which always market premium quality game products. Apart from gaming laptops, Razer also markets keyboards, mice, controllers, and even gaming headsets. Some people may consider Razer products at a high price. But gamers admit that what Razer sells is excellent functionality for gaming. Razer recently produced a wireless gaming headset called the Razer Nari. The Nari is one of Razer’s premium offerings, even with the base model being quite expensive. Nari’s is large but feels very light on the head, showing its quality as the best headset.
Design and Features
The Razer Nari is designed very elegantly, even though most of it uses a plastic construction. Its perforated outer earcups and metallic headband accentuate the matte black plastic nicely, with the Razer logo on the cover looking like a premium design. The earcups are circular, like the Razer Krakens but have plenty of ear room. On the headband, added to the branched metal and soft foam underneath that fits your head; it looks pretty good.
Razer Nari does not use Hypersense technology like the Nari Ultimate. But the features used in this Nari are still the best. One of the best is to use a headband that perfectly fits all heads. Razer is the best for all things design and features for its gaming products. The Razer Nari is also equipped with RGB lighting features on both earcups, and this is the main attraction; what’s more, this feature reflects a gaming product.
Connectivity and Battery
As a Wireless Gaming Headset, Razer Nari can connect via a 2.4 GHz Dongle Connection, with an effective range of 12 meters. Nari can be used on many platforms, but the dongle will only work with PC and PS4 unless you purchase a specific Xbox model. You can use the 3.5mm jack to make it work with your Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or your mobile device.
The Razer Nari claims to last up to 20 hours of battery life when you turn off the RGB light and only 14 hours if you leave the RGB light. 14 hours isn’t bad and gives you a few days of use before needing to charge. The headset also works well in wired mode, so you can continue to use it while charging via the micro-USB cable.
