The Razer Ifrit in-ears are plastic hoops with earpieces dangling from the side and a boom mic that extends forward, making them an attractive option for streamers and Let’s Players who want to record commentary without messing with it. Hair. Thanks to the included USB sound card with two headset jacks for simultaneous audio playback and capture, it is even more appealing to duos looking to record together. Therefore, it is very disappointing that the sound quality and microphone of the headset do not match the price, especially compared to other models from Razer.
Design
The Razer Ifrit is a simple black plastic headband that wraps around your ears and the back of your head like upside-down glasses. Individual earphones with a short five-inch cable extending just behind the ear hooks, ready to fit in your ear. An eight-foot-high wire terminated in a four-pole 3.5mm plug runs from behind the left earphone cable. The boom microphone capsule with a black foam cover sits on a flexible arm extending forward from the left earloop’s end.

Razer Ifrit’s shape The headband is designed to be one-size-fits-all, and its flexible plastic shape gives it enough rest to rest comfortably on my large head. It’s not the safest or most convenient; The earloop doesn’t pinch, but the headband still provides very light and stable pressure on the back of the head. The headset is equipped with dual flange silicone on a pair of on-ear tips and several sizes of single-flange silicone ear tips, but no hooks or fins to stabilize it on the ear.
Features and Connectivity
Razer Ifrit has a perfect feature, namely USB Audio Enhancer. This USB has two 3.5mm ports on the bottom panel, opposite the USB cable. Each four-pole port supports a complete headset, meaning up to two users can plug their headset into the box. However, both can listen to system audio and speak into their microphones simultaneously. It is a handy feature for recording or streaming setup Because two people can comment simultaneously. Oddly enough, there’s no bundle of two Ifrits to work with Audio Enhancer, and Ifrit isn’t available on its own, so you’ll have to get a separate headset.
The Razer Ifrit and USB Audio Enhancer are meant to be used in conjunction with a PC. However, since the Ifrit is a stereo headset with a 3.5mm jack, it will work independently with any modern gaming system or any phone or tablet with a headphone jack. This bundle is primarily for streaming and recording so that you won’t find a lot of game-oriented bells and whistles with a headset or sound card. There’s no simulated surround sound, colored lighting, or even an equalizer programmed via Razer’s Synapse software. The “audio enhancer” section of USB Audio Enhancer is specific to the sound that goes into it, providing analog-to-digital conversion of the microphone input. You’ll get very smooth stereo sound from the Ifrit, but you won’t get the surround sound or customizable audio performance you get with Razer’s Kraken Ultimate or Nari Essential.
