Razer always prioritizes its products for gamers, from the Kraken Pro gaming headsets to the Razer Blade Gaming Laptops. When you need anything related to your gaming needs, Razer will be your choice. So, when they announced their latest take-out card, the Razer RIPSAW HD, it was a positive response from the wishes of razer gamers.
The Ripsaw comes with a manual, a 3.5mm audio cable, an HDMI cable, and a USB Type-C cable. The setup is quite simple, plug the HMDI cable into your console or gaming PC and the HDMI input slot, then insert another HDMI cable into the HDMI output slot and your monitor or TV. The Ripsaw still needs a PC to get power and send the gameplay you catch there, and that’s why it comes with a USB Type-C cable to plug into your PC and back into your Ripsaw.
Desain and Features
The Razer Ripsaw has a bigger design than its competitors, but not too big. The color of the case is all black, has rounded corners. A layer of textured rubber covers the entire unit base, keeping it in place. The front panel displays large LEDs that flash green or red, depending on whether the current Ripsaw is recognized by the included Razer Synapse software. On the left of the LED are two 3.5mm audio input jacks, one for microphone use and one for microphone purposes. This jack allows the user to mix audio sources and separate them by video or stream without needing a separate device.
You will find four jacks on the back of the unit, namely, USB 3.0, Component in, HDMI out, and HDMI in. The Component in jack requires the included AV Component cable or AV Multi-Component Cable to function. You cannot connect the component video cable directly to the unit, as it must first be connected to the dongle. The top and bottom of the Ripsaw are matte black, covered with glossy plastic on all four sides. It would be great, as fingerprints and dust will be difficult to stick.
