Razer is indeed very famous for its gaming products. However, now Razer is trying to switch to powerful audio products. Razer bought the THX company in 2016, and since then, they have focused on incorporating THX technology into gaming headsets and other products. One of the new Razer Opus headphones’ best products, the wireless Opus headphones offer clean, clear audio with lots of high-end finesse, along with substantial active noise cancellation that helps block out the sound around you. These certainly aren’t the most potent headphones for bass response, but they offer great value for the price.

Design
The Opus headphones look cool in quality for the Razer. No RGB lights, no green sparks. In design, it doesn’t look that big either. They are designed with sleek black headphones, covered in black plastic and faux leather. Soft ear cups are large oval-shaped angled slightly back so that they fit snugly around your ears. The back of the earcups is flat, with a small silver THX logo on it. The Metallic Razer logo can be found on the end of the headband, just above where they connect to the earplugs.
All the Opus buttons are skinny and feel similar to each other, and the layout takes away all the black space on the back panel of the earcups that can easily hold touch sensors or flat buttons. The design is simple, and the multi-function buttons are slightly lower than the volume buttons, so you can at least find them easily under your fingertips.
App Control And Stylish Sound
An application to run Razer Opus for Android and iOS is available in several customization options. But it feels limited compared to some other headphone apps. You can switch between different EQ presets THX, Enhanced Bass, Vocal, Amplified, and Enhanced Clarity. However, you cannot freely create custom EQ presets. Although the app displays a five-band EQ to show what the curve looks like for each preset.

At Razer’s quenching active noise without focusing on gaming, Opus headphones deliver powerful audio with incredible high-frequency prowess. They provide a mild effect on the bass, and the ANC isn’t the strongest at this. But ANC can be categorized into perfect headphones for the price, especially if you like an understated design. Even so, Sennheiser HD 450BT headphones remain our go-to for affordable noise cancellation, with better sound and ANC quality at the same price.
