Razer presents the Kaira Pro as a puzzle for gamers hungry for equipment. On the one hand, nearly every Xbox One accessory works well with Microsoft’s new console, Series X, and Series S. The Kaira Pro is a wireless headset with excellent sound quality, a comfortable fit, and a comfortable design, and helpful Bluetooth functionality. While it won’t work with the PS5 or Switch, it pairs beautifully with any Xbox console and PCs, or mobile devices. The Kaira Pro is Razer’s best gaming headset for Xbox owners, especially those on the market with a wireless model.
Design
The Razer Kaira Pro is an example of Razer’s headset design, which has changed for the better in 2020. Razer only produces big models, and headsets are now much slimmer, lighter, and more pleasing to the eye. The Kaira Pro features Razer’s signature green and black color scheme, with foam earflaps, memory oval, and a padded steel headband. Adding the classy Razer logo on each side of the device makes the headset look distinct and elegant.
Another feather on the Kaira Pro cap is its functionality almost evenly across earplugs. The right earcup houses the pairing, Bluetooth buttons, and a game/chat dial. You’ll find a mute microphone button, volume button, power button, USB-C charging port, and a detachable flexible microphone on the left earcup. The only problem with the Kaira pro is that although the earflaps fold flat for easy transportation, the swivels stick out too much. Shake the headset just a little, and the earplugs will move everywhere. It’s less of a concern when they sit comfortably on top of your head, but it does make it a little more challenging to get a good seal.
